The Value of Transparency in Relationships
Wow, do I really notice it now the areas of my life where I’m still not yet 100 percent transparent.
Transparency feels so liberating. What is transparency? It means literally saying what you are thinking and feeling out loud moment by moment. And it is so connecting too. You are liberating other people with your honesty and connecting with them at the same time. Win/win.
There are no private thoughts. You may as well say it because it’s being transmitted anyway. It’s being transmitted whether the person is sitting right next to you or if they are on the other side of the globe. The spiritual world knows not of time and space.
So every day I try to expand my comfort zone a little bit and say something out loud that normally I would keep to myself. I try to have a little more transparency day by day.
Btw, I let my guy from the Natural Game post read my entire blog the other night. I was a little shy about it, but it felt good to share it with him. He seemed to enjoy it ;-) He said “Don’t be shy. Our adventures can be shared.” How I appreciate that kind of openness.
“Love wishes to be known, completely understood, and shared. It has no secrets; nothing that it would keep apart and hide. It walks in sunlight, open-eyed and calm, in smiling welcome, and in sincerity so simple and so obvious it cannot be misunderstood.” – A Course in Miracles
“And in the sunlight you will stand in quiet, in innocence and wholly unafraid.” – A Course in Miracles

Love,
I’m confused…why wouldn’t you just say what you’re thinking? I don’t see why it has to be so complicated. You’re supposed to be honest with people.
You made my day with your comment. I’m so happy to hear that this post touched you. Thanks for sharing. :-)
