Sigh, Erika but the very sad problem here is people think they can get away with just doing positive affirmation and practicing gratitude but it goes so much deeper. To be fully conscious of what your beliefs system is (what beliefs are running the show subconsciously) goes so much deeper. Without practicing everything holistically, you can talk inner-work/game all day long still not be aware of your belief system. Because truthfully, we have blinders on and we don’t want to feel the feelings we need to feel.
