Thanks mainly to RSD/Tyler etc I’m finally seeing the light after 38 years. And what it boils down to, as this post reinforces, is that naturals are basically just nice guys. Who have, or who grew balls of steel, which allows them to express themselves (aka ‘transparency’).

In other words, this guy Erika talks about, was not aggressive or frightening. He was DOMINANT. He said stuff that 80-90% of men would probably never dream of saying. Or if they did it would be coming out nervous or unsure or contrived.

All women are different, so its hard to generalise 100%. But from my point of view being a genuinely nice guy (like this dude) who also happens to be have (or have developed) balls of steel – a confidence and ease to just say stuff and have the body language and presence to go with it (congruence) – is really what its all about.

I have experienced this from man’s point of view. It makes you feel ALIVE as a man. Now, for me – its about developing consistency.

Currently I regularly do seem to hit the ‘sweet spot’ of expressivness+dominance+playfulness+balls of steel but there are still rather too many times when I get doubts and lose that energy for a little while.

But its a journey and I will do everything I can never to lose the motivation to stay on it. And its not just about men and women – its about the ‘life force’ that you bring to your life in general.

The story was great! I can totally relate to being in that present time with that special person. I also find that its difficult to find more people who I can connect with on that level. May I also add that I starting to disagree with the term “game”. It has such a vague definition and it causes me discomfort to relate to something as what you experienced with your male friend as “game”.

As long as you stay centred boundaries aren’t really an issue. I also can understand to some extent your spiritual view on things. from my own experience in the field of group-dynamics i know there will be a moment where you stay fully in the present and once you get there the whole world seems different. it is a very strong but peaceful state of mind where anything is possible, nothing is harmful and life seems nothing but a joyful adventure. spirituality all of a sudden makes sense, knowing without knowing, acting without doubting, living without fearing. if i am not on the wrong track here, i think i can also understand why celibacy was important for you until now. so yeah, i think you can take of yourself, have fun.

So I want to focus on one thing you said because to me it seems like the hidden assumption in all the “be careful” things people are saying: “please reassess what you expect from this relationship.”

But where did I ever say in my post that I am expecting anything from this relationship? I just met this guy.

As i already tried to clarify, gaming is not a bad thing in itself, true game simply means a man who knows how to give a woman what she needs in order to get what he wants in my view. and if all he wants is truly her that is a fine thing. sending flowers can be considered game, knowing when and how to call can be considered game, it is all about the how and when. it has in this sense nothing to do with playing games on people, messing with them or manipulating them.
it is just a social ability to make things happen. That said i must emphasize that you have to be careful not to interpret too much into the whole relationship so far, there is too much danger you get hurt in the end. you want to have sexy with him, great but if you want to protect your boundaries than please reassess what you expect from this relationship.
