My daughter in law is big on holistics. I def. see the benefits just by watching her. Big business can’t like it though, even if they see merit. That cuts into their profits. ;)

Sure, I think skepticism is something we use to try not to get our hopes up and be disappointed. It does though tend to limit us in possibilities, also.

A good example of this would be gymnastics. I was always very careful because I didn’t want to get hurt. But the girls who really soared in gymnastics were the ones who went for it without skepticism. I had fun and I’m glad I did it, there is also no doubt my fear kept me from every reaching the heights I might have reached …

I’m somewhat of a skeptic by nature, so I feel like I lie right in the middle of this. I do think there is great power in how and what we feed our bodies. It needs the proper nutrition to heal itself.

Hey Scott, yes and well maybe it could be profitable. In my situation with Harvey the Cat (http://erikaawakening.com/guardian-angels/) … I had the choice to go for euthanasia for $245 or to pay thousands for a highly uncertain outcome with emergency intervention. It really was only because of my faith in my ability as an alternative healer that I went the more expensive route. I had faith that if they could help me buy even a little bit of time, I could get him healed and stabilize him. So integrative medicine could actually be more profitable, with happier outcomes as well.

It isn’t in their best interest to promote holistic approaches – it isn’t profitable! Let’s hope by them doing their thing and others practicing other methods, that a true solution can someday be found.
