Re A Course in Miracles, it seems it’s much like the Bible in that people have different interpretations of it and yet everyone claims to be the only one(s) who are interpreting it correctly. It’s a book, for heaven’s sake. Who says it’s the gospel? Literally? Who says your interpretation is correct?
Actually, who cares? I don’t. I still think this is ALL about the fact that Mark left you and chose another woman to the exclusion of you. Ego or what? Denial or what? To what extent will you go to win this power battle that is your own?

Erika, I may have judged you severely in times past but I must admit this particular blog has some grit, honesty , and raw truth. Your writing here has courage and is well thought out. Those qualities alone will always keep me reading and reflecting. I still may disagree in regards to something in the future but ,at least I know I’m dealing with a thoughtful, intelligent person . And that always comes down to “iron sharpening iron” .

Hey Erika, just wanted to let you know that cats can easily be vegan. The most important thing is that they get taurine which can be got through synthetic means and not through animal sources. Most taurine in pet foods is synthetic. It might help.

Hi Michael, thanks – by the way I am editing links out of the blog comments themselves for a lot of reasons. I tried that actually. Lot of problems with it. First, one cat wouldn’t eat it. Second, very high in phosphorus. After Fritz’s kidney issues there is no way I am going there and it does no good if he won’t eat it anyway. They will need to come up with something way less time-consuming and that I feel way more clear is actually good for my cats. Thank you though I trust the perfect answer will emerge :)

Regarding meat…:

Milk products are also a big problem: First the animals are kept as milk-machines, fed with antibiotics, often with never being allowed to go outside, then finally they will be slaughtered violently with the bolt gun like all the other livestock!

By the bolt gun (cattle gun) is nothing other but a torture device. Why? It’s not supposed to kill the animals but only to NUMB them! (So that the blood will still flow insided the body, and the meat will look better…!) So the animals are hung to the hooks ALIVE and then the actual slaughter process begins, when many of the animals wake up again…!!

This is the living hell and there is a solution to it:
Go VEGAN!
