Yes poverty is not of God, it is of the ego. Now of course rampant materialism is a different form of poverty – spiritual poverty. But God providing us everything we need, easily and enjoyably … is the way it’s meant to be!

Desiring to have money and to live in abundance is not greedy at all. “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” 3 John 1:2 – it’s one of my favorite verses!
